Ultravox - Rage in Eden (Deluxe 5 CD/2022/FLAC)


Following the success of 2020’s deluxe reissue of Vienna, on 16 September Chrysalis Records will release a box set of the Utravox’s second album with Midge Ure, Rage In Eden.   

Originally released in October 1981, as with the bands previous two albums, Rage In Eden was produced by Conny Plank (Kraftwerk, Can, Neu!) at his studio in Cologne during the summer of that year. 

This new 5CD/1DVD Box Set features the original album, a new stereo mix of the album by Steven Wilson, along with a host of single mixes, b-sides, rehearsals and work in progress mixes and a newly mixed full concert recorded at Hammersmith Odeon, London in 1981.

Blue Floyd are a jam band spin off from Gov't Mule and the Allman Brothers, featuring Allen Woody, Matt Abts from Gov't Mule, and Berry Oakley from the Allman Brothers, along with Mark Ford lead guitarist with the Black Crows, and on keyboards Johnny Neil from Dickey Betts Band and the Allman Brothers.                                   




 

 

Knut Reiersrud discography [1991-2018]

 
Knut Reiersrud (born 12 February 1961 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian blues guitarist. His work also incorporates elements of Norwegian traditional music and African music. He lives in Oslo. He has collaborated extensively with the Norwegian organist Iver Kleive. He is lead guitarist and one of the original members of Cloudberry Cream.

Reiersrud also plays the harmonica, mandolin, langeleik, oud, and Turkish saz, he has composed music for four Norwegian movies, and together with Iver Kleive, took part in the opening ceremony of the '94 Olympic Winter Games.

In 2008 Reiersrud established his own festival «Trestock» at Nesodden, where a superteam of Norwegian musicians contributed. Among the artists can be mentioned Odd Nordstoga, Valkyrien Allstars and Reiersrud with his own K. R. Band, and in collaboration with organist Iver Kleive. Upcoming artists which is exciting for the younger audience like Jarle Bernhoft (ex «Span») with his new project, and the band «Lester», which is Nikolai Eilertsen (ex BigBang) and David Wallumrød, and the indie band «Maika». Names like The Grand, Amund Maarud's rock band, Spellemannprisen nominated Hemisfair, the girls who play lively frantic noise in Katzenjammer, Rockabilly girls in Lucky Lips, the country artist Ivar Thomas, the Nesodden heroes «Foggy Boys» and «Midnight Special», the traditional music trio «Vrang» and «Drøbak Bluesband».

Reiersrud has for many years been host of the NRK radio program Bluesasylet together with Knut Borge. The program is meant to be a playground and a respite for blues and blues-friends of all shades.

 Neil Young Archives Volume II: 1972–1976 is a 10-CD box set from American-Canadian folk rock musician Neil Young that was initially released in a limited deluxe box set (and streaming on the Neil Young Archives site) on November 20, 2020. The release is the second box set in his Neil Young Archives series, following 2009's The Archives Vol. 1 1963–1972, and covers a three-and-a-half-year period from 1972–1976.
