Yes- The Steven Wilson Remixes (5 CD, 2018) [FLAC +24/96]

In 2013, in addition to his many recording and remixing projects, Steven Wilson remixed a sizeable chunk of the Yes catalog. Interestingly, he didn’t proceed chronologically, but by using an inner aesthetic that has become his trademark through previous projects with King Crimson and Jethro Tull. In 2013, he completed 1972’s Close to the Edge, in 2014 he did a stellar job on 1974’s Relayer (arguably never properly heard until this mix) and 1971’s The Yes Album. The following year it was 1972’s Fragile and in 2016, 1973’s double-length Tales from Topographic Oceans. These high-resolution remixes were previously available only on Blu-Ray and DVD (while the conventional CDs contained 16/48 resolution mixes).

Yes - Tormato (1978/2013) [24-192]

Tormato is the ninth studio album by English progressive rock band Yes. It was released on 22 September 1978 on Atlantic Records, and is their last album with singer Jon Anderson and keyboardist Rick Wakeman before their departure from the group in 1980. After touring their previous album Going for the One (1977), the band entered rehearsals in London to record a follow-up. The album was affected by various problems, such as internal disputes over the direction of the music and artwork, and the departure of engineer Eddy Offord early into the sessions, resulting in the group producing the album themselves.

Yes - Fragile (1971) [24-192] + Isolated Bass Tracks [FLAC]

Fragile is the fourth studio album by the English progressive rock band Yes, released on 12 November 1971 by Atlantic Records. It was the band's first album to feature keyboardist Rick Wakeman, who replaced Tony Kaye after the group had finished touring their breakthrough record, The Yes Album (1971).

Yes - Drama (1980/2013] [24-192]

Drama
is the tenth studio album by the English progressive rock band Yes, released on 18 August 1980 by Atlantic Records. It is their only album to feature Trevor Horn on lead vocals and the first with Geoff Downes on keyboards. This followed the departures of Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman after attempts to record a new album in Paris and London had failed. Drama was recorded hurriedly with Horn and Downes, as a tour had already been booked before the change in personnel. The album marked a development in Yes' musical direction, combining the band's progressive signature with Horn and Downes' new wave sensibilities.

Yes - Time and a Word (1970/2013) [24-192]

Time and a Word
is the second studio album by English rock band Yes, released on 24 July 1970 by Atlantic Records. It was put together several months after the release of the band's 1969 eponymous debut, during which they continued to tour heavily and recorded Time and a Word during gaps between shows. Yes continued to follow their early musical direction of performing original material and cover versions of songs by pop, jazz, and folk artists. A small orchestra of brass and string session musicians was used on most of the album's songs.
Jon Anderson – lead vocals, percussion
Peter Banks – electric and acoustic guitars, backing vocals
Chris Squire – bass, backing vocals
Tony Kaye – Hammond organ, piano
    Bill Bruford – drums, percussion

Yes - Yessongs (3 CD, 1973) [24-96]

Yessongs is the first live album by the English progressive rock band Yes, released as a triple album in May 1973 on Atlantic Records. After completing their Close to the Edge Tour in April 1973, the band selected live recordings between February and December 1972 on their tours supporting Fragile (1971) and Close to the Edge (1972) for a live album release. They were then edited and remixed with their producer and live sound mixer Eddy Offord. Three tracks feature original Yes drummer Bill Bruford while the remaining tracks feature his replacement, Alan White.

The setlist features songs from all eras of the band's career, including a large number of progressive rock classics from their 1970s heyday, as well as a rare performance from the band's 1969 debut album, two tracks from the band's 1980s pop rock era, and the first performance of the 1996 epic "Mind Drive" from the overlooked Keys to Ascension albums (the band had never performed material from these recordings).

  • Chris Squire: bass, harmonica

Yes - The Yes Album - 1971/2014 (Blu-ray Audio) [FLAC-HD]

The Yes Album is probably the most relaxed album and although the albums that followed this one are produced better and show much more experimentation and epic musicianship, the toned down, simplistic songs here are solid gold. This is one of the best Yes albums of , probably the first masterpiece they created which serves as a great starting point for newcomers.

  •  Jon Anderson (vocals, percussion)
  • Chris Squire (bass, vocals)
  • Steve Howe (acoustic and electric guitars, vocals)
  • Tony Kaye (piano, Hammond organ, Moog synthesiser)
  • Bill Bruford (drums, percussion)

Bill Bruford - Making a Song and Dance: A Complete-Career Collection (6 CD, 2022/FLAC)

Over the past 50 years Bill Bruford has been one of the most original and innovative drummers across multiple genres. Making A Song and Dance: A Complete Career Collection is a 6CD Boxset that charts some of the many highlights of Bruford’s incredible career and is released on 29th April through BMG.

From early steps with progressive legends YES and a quarter of a century in King Crimson, to ground-breaking jazz fusion leading his own Bruford and Earthworks projects, Bill Bruford has always wanted to explore his chosen discipline to the full – and then push the boundaries further. This desire to challenge convention has created some breath-taking moments and made Bruford the drummer-of-choice for collaborations with leading musicians around the world.

For this anthology, Bruford has selected 70 tracks from across his whole career, comprising works from some 23 different artists and bands over a 40-year period. “I’ve deliberately avoided forcing them into industry categories such as ‘progressive rock’, ‘fusion’ or ‘jazz’,” Bruford adds, “on the grounds that most of the music I’ve been associated with fits very poorly into such straight-jackets. Round holes and square pegs come to mind.”

The 6CD boxset Making a Song and Dance includes tracks from YES, King Crimson, Bruford, Bill Bruford’s Earthworks, his work with iconic global guitarists Al Di Meola, Steve Howe and Kazumi Watanabe and collaborations with keyboardists Patrick Moraz and Michiel Borstlap and many others. The package also includes a detailed explanation in a 52-page hardback book, written by Bruford, featuring rare and unseen photos. The outer box artwork, gatefold CDs and booklet have been designed by Bruford’s long-time artist and graphic designer Dave McKean.

Yes – YesYears (1969-1991) [4 CD,1991/FLAC]

YesYears is a career-spanning collection of music by progressive rock band Yes released as a four-disc box set in 1991. It was compiled following the release of Union and Yes's departure from Atlantic Records, with whom they had been contracted since 1969 (and the offshoot label Atco Records since 1983). Yesyears covers the band's musical story from 1969's debut Yes to studio material recorded with Billy Sherwood following Jon Anderson's departure in 1988.

One of the major attractions of YesYears was its inclusion of rare material, including many previously unreleased songs, and a full-colour booklet detailing Yes's history.

A condensed version of this package, entitled Yesstory, was released in 1992 on two discs.
Yesyears was deleted in the late 1990s, preceding the release of Rhino Records' (five-disc) box set In a Word: Yes (1969 - ) in 2002. Most of the material found on Yesyears but not on In a word would surface on Rhino's reissues of Yes albums in 2003 and 2004.
