The Black Crowes were dogged with comparisons to the Rolling Stones and the Faces throughout the first decade of their career, so it came as a mild surprise that they teamed with Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page in late 1999 for a couple of concerts. Zeppelin had a mystique and majesty about them that the Crowes never attempted to emulate. They were an earthy, bluesy rock band and while they found a number of different ways to rework their influences, they never tried the stately grandeur that was Zeppelin's second nature. So, some observers were curious to see how these two approaches worked.

Jimmy Page discography [1968-2006] (FLAC)
James Patrick "Jimmy" Page, (born 9 January 1944) is an English guitarist, songwriter, and record producer. He began his career as a studio session guitarist in London and was subsequently a member of The Yardbirds from 1966 to 1968, after which he founded the English rock band Led Zeppelin.
Often viewed by critics and fans alike as one of the most influential and important guitarists and songwriters ever in rock music, Page was described as "unquestionably one of the all-time most influential, important, and versatile guitarists and songwriters in rock history", and by Rolling Stone magazine as "the pontiff of power riffing & probably the most digitally sampled artist in pop today after James Brown." In 2010, Jimmy Page was ranked #2 in Gibson's list of "Top 50 Guitarists of All Time" and, in 2007, #4 on Classic Rock Magazine's "100 Wildest Guitar Heroes". Page was ranked ninth in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" in 2003. He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice; once as a member of The Yardbirds (1992), and once as a member of Led Zeppelin (1995).

Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Steve Winwood, Jimmy Page & friends - The ARMS Charity Concert 1983 (DVDRIP video)
The ARMS Charity Concerts were a series of charitable rock concerts in support of Action into Research for Multiple Sclerosis in 1983. The first (and initially planned to be the only) event took place at the Royal Albert Hall on September 20, 1983, with subsequent dates occurring in the United States, with slightly different lineups of musicians.
The idea for hosting the concert was envisaged by Ronnie Lane, ex-bassist for Small Faces and Faces, himself a casualty of multiple sclerosis. The concert was billed as The Ronnie Lane Appeal for ARMS and featured a star-studded line-up of British musicians, including Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Steve Winwood, Andy Fairweather Low, Bill Wyman, Kenney Jones, Charlie Watts and Ray Cooper. The concert was particularly notable in the fact that it was the first occasion on which Clapton, Beck and Page, each a former lead guitarist for The Yardbirds, had performed together on stage.
Jimmy Page - Session Man Vol. 1 & 2 (2 CD, 1990/FLAC)
Jimmy Page: Session Man is a two-volume compilation album featuring tracks by various artists on which Jimmy Page performed as a session musician, recorded between 1963 and 1968. The album was released by AIP Records (a subsidiary of Bomp! Records) in 1989 (first volume) and the second was released in 1990. Some of the tracks were mastered from vinyl due to the rare nature of the recordings.
The artwork and title are similar to a bootleg compilation released by Slipped Disc Records in 1979, titled James Patrick Page: Session Man.
