Whitesnake - Still... Good to Be Bad (4 CD, 2023) [24-48]


Whitesnake
returned in 2008 with Good To Be Bad, the band’s 10th studio album and its first in over a decade. Fans embraced the comeback, pushing the album into the Top 10 in the U.K. and flocking to shows on the band’s massive world tour. Today, album tracks like “Best Years” and “Summer Rain” have taken their place in the band’s live repertoire alongside global hits like “Here I Go Again” and “Still Of The Night.”

Whitesnake explores the group’s 2008 return with the upcoming legacy retrospective, STILL GOOD TO BE BAD. The collection is coming out on April 28, a few days after the original album’s 15th anniversary. The first collection is a 4-CD/Blu-ray with two new versions of the original album (one remastered and the other newly remixed), a selection of rare and unreleased studio and live recordings from the period, and videos all the music videos, interviews, and electrifying live performances from the Good To Be Bad world tour.

‘s 1989 album Slip of the Tongue has been  reissued for its 30th anniversary across four different physical editions including a seven-disc super deluxe which offers a host of rare and unreleased material.

The suitably entitled 30th Anniversary Collection is a triple CD collection released in 2008, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Whitesnake.

Whitesnake - Unzipped (Super Deluxe 5 CD, 2018/FLAC)


Rhino has released Unzipped, a new Whitesnake super deluxe edition box set,  that focuses on ‘unplugged’ and acoustic-based performances recorded over the last 20 years or so. This 5CD+DVD package includes rare and unreleased studio and live recordings, acoustic demos, concert videos, interviews and more.

The first CD in the set is called Unzipped… In The Studio: The Love Songs and features six previously unreleased tracks, while disc two, Starkers in Tokyo is a 1997 unplugged concert recorded in Tokyo. This has never been officially issued in the States and has been newly remixed for this set. Two further CDs, Starkers in Europe and More Starkers continue the theme, delivering 48 more audio tracks.

The final audio disc is Up Close & Personal which contains 25 of David Coverdale’s unreleased and acoustic demos.

Whitesnake- Slide It In : The Ultimate Edition (6 CD, 2019)

 

Whitesnake scored its first platinum-selling album in 1984 with Slide It In, a release that has sold more than six million copies worldwide thanks to hard-rocking songs like “Love Ain’t No Stranger,” “Slow An’ Easy” and the title track. The classic album turns 35 this year and Rhino / Parlophone is celebrating with several new versions, including an enormous seven-disc boxed set.

The 6CD/DVD collection includes newly remastered versions of both the U.K. and U.S. mixes of the album as well as the 35th Anniversary Remixes from 2019, plus unreleased live and studio recordings, music videos, concert footage, and a new interview with Whitesnake founder and lead singer, David Coverdale.

Whitesnake - Box 'O' Snakes: [9 CD, 2011]

Limited box set includes remasters of the five studio and two live albums that Whitesnake released from 1978-82 plus two previously unreleased live albums recorded for the BBC at the 1979 and 1980 UK Reading Rock Festivals.
