He has been quite rightly hailed as 'The Voice Of Rock', as this live set ably testifies. With vocals soaked in blues and soul, Glenn Hughes has fronted many legendary rock acts, including Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Hughes-Thrall, Trapeze and Black Country Communion. Whilst every effort has been made to produce the best possible audio, limitations in the material drawn from various, non-standard, and unofficial sources means that the quality may not be up to the standard usually expected. All tracks have been included for their historical importance, and to present an alternative anthology of Glenn Hughes live on stage from 1995-2010.

Glenn Hughes - Songs In the Key of Rock [3 CD] (2023) [FLAC]
With a title that pays homage to one of Glenn’s heroes, Stevie Wonder’s “Songs in the Key of Life”, this 2003 album mixes his beloved funk with a deliberate 70s style hard rock. As well as featuring long-time collaborator JJ Marsh on guitar, the album includes guest spots from bassist Billy Sheehan and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith, as well as co-producer Jeff Kollman. ‘Higher Places (Song for Bonzo)’ is a song dedicated to Glenn’s dear friend, Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham.

Bob Daisley and Friends - Moore Blues For Gary (2018/FLAC)
In October 2018 an album paying tribute to the late, great Gary Moore was released. In a field where tribute albums are often hastily assembled affairs stuffed with songs recorded in fleeting moments of downtime, Moore Blues For Gary - curated by Moore's longtime bass player Bob Daisley - stands out not just for its stellar cast, but for the quality of the recordings.
Joining Daisley on the album are Steve Lukather, Danny Bowes, Glenn Hughes, Joe Lynn Turner, Steve Morse, John Sykes, Neil Carter, Doug Aldrich, Eric Singer and many more.
“I asked many members of the Gary Moore family tree, and some other great players, to contribute to the project," says Daisley. "The response was not only encouraging, but very moving. It seems that the name Gary Moore is also synonymous with the words ‘respect’, ‘honour’ and ‘greatness’."
Glenn Hughes - Justified Man - The Studio Albums 1995-2003 (6 CD, 2020/FLAC)
Glenn Hughes, “The Voice Of Rock”, first came to prominence in Trapeze, a band featuring future Whitesnake guitarist Mel Galley, and future Judas Priest drummer, Dave Holland. Following their third album, “You Are The Music, We’re Just The Band”, Glenn joined Deep Purple in 1973 for their “Burn”, “Stormbringer” and “Come Taste The Band” albums. Deep Purple split in 1976, with its members following various solo and side-projects. The first fruits of Glenn’s post Purple career appeared with “Play Me Out” (also available on Purple Records), issued in July 1977. Glenn would go on to collaborate with Pat Thrall in Hughes-Thrall, Joe Lynn Turner in the Hughes-Turner Project, with Tony Iommi in Black Sabbath, plus pursue a prolific solo career through the 1990s and beyond.
