Humble Pie - Official Bootleg Box Set Vol 1 (3 CD, 2017/FLAC)

Humble Pie’s “Official Bootleg Box Set Volume 1” is a raw testament to what this band did best; playing bluesy, gutsy, soulful and often hard rock, live on stage to an adoring audience. Drawn from a variety of mainly audience recordings that have previously only been available as “under the counter” pirate releases, this is an honest, and often unforgiving, tribute to a classic and much missed 70s supergroup.

Led Zeppelin - For Badgeholders Only (LA Forum, 21st – 27th June 1977) [18 CD]

Empress Valley’s massive box set For Badge Holders Only caught collectors by surprise. Nowhere was it ever mentioned this was in production. This is an eighteen disc plus one DVD box set. It has two designs on the front cover and each is limited to only one hundred fifty copies. This is the third time a box set with Led Zeppelin’s eleventh tour Los Angeles shows has been released. The first was A Week For Badge Holders (Tarantura T19CD-BOX (T19CD-1~19)). At the time this was a startling achievement and is an extremely rare piece. However Tarantura used the first hour of the June 14th New York show for the June 22nd tape for some reason. After this Power & Glory (The Diagrams Of Led Zeppelin TDOLZ Vol. 50-55). This was a solid set but for the June 22nd show they edited in ”Ten Years Gone” from an alternate source for the June 21st show. Also they used some high generation tapes which is noticeable especially on the June 25th concert.

In the intervening decade since the release of the Diagrams set there have been a multitude of releases of the four Millard taped concerts. In the past two years both Wendy and Scorpio issued these shows and both released the Eddie show twice. This set finds partial redemption in issuing the first complete version of the June 22nd show on silver for the first time. Empress Valley are also trying hard to associate this with their excellent Deep Throat boxset, which covers the three Los Angeles shows from 1975 and now commands high prices. What follows are brief comments regarding each of the shows in this set.

Bob Dylan - Man On The Street, Vol. 2 (10 CD, 2019) [FLAC]

Second set of Dylan's performances : 1974-1994

Colosseum - The Reunion Concerts 1994 (2020/FLAC)

One of the most influential of the early British progressive rock bands, Colosseum fused an adventurous approach to rock with strong jazz and blues influences and classical keyboard accents; they earned a loyal and lasting following though they never scored a major breakthrough hit. On June 24th 1994, Colosseum played their first concert together for 23 years.

Jon Hiseman said ‘Despite many requests from fans and promoters over the past couple of decades, I never seriously considered reforming the original Colosseum. But the release of all the albums on CD in the early ’90’s was extremely successful and generated a lot of new interest in the band. When Dave, Dick, Clem and Chris ganged up on me in 1993 it became clear there was no escape. A date was set and I found Mark in America and we all met up in my studio on June 17th 1994 and I gave the count in for ‘Those About to Die’. We played as if the band had never been apart’.

Thin Lizzy - Live At The BBC [6 CD, 2011]

A massive seven-disc box set of the group’s rare performances, culled from the BBC recordings which still exist in the archives. The recordings chart the band’s progression from their early years, three piece version to the band’s high point, becoming known as one of the greatest live acts of all time. This is the first time these recordings have been collected together and offered in a complete set.

The set includes the last concert with bassist Phil Lynott, from the Reading festival in 1983, as well as a DVD of the band’s appearances on Top of the Pops and the Old Grey Whistle Test. Lynott passed away in 1986.

Eric Clapton And Steve Winwood - Exotic Summer [European Tour 2010, 24 CD]

Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood first connected in 1969 when they formed Blind Faith with Ginger Baker and Rick Grech. One of rock music's first "supergroups", the band was short-lived and released only one album. The eagerly anticipated 2010 European dates follow last summer’s U.S. Tour. Their three amazing nights at Madison Square Garden in February 2008 were captured on Live From Madison Square Garden. Released in May 2009, the DVD and CD sets highlight the duo’s shared history in Blind Faith, their abiding love of the blues, coupled with some signature solo songs and a few of their personal favorites.

Chris Stainton first joined Eric Clapton's band in 1979 and has been an integral part of EC's touring and recording bands for much of the last 30 years. Steve Gadd first joined Clapton’s band during the blues tour and remained with the band until 1996. He then rejoined Eric’s band from September 1998 through the 2004 World Tour and again from May 2009. Sharon White and Michelle John joined Eric Clapton’s band in 2004 while bass legend Willie Weeks signed on in 2006.

  • Steve Winwood – hammond organ, piano, guitar, vocals
  • Chris Stainton – keyboards

Grateful Dead - Sunshine Daydream (3 CD, 2013/FLAC + DVDRIP + 2xDVD 5)

Sunshine Daydream is a music documentary film, starring the rock band the Grateful Dead. It was shot at their August 27, 1972 concert at the Old Renaissance Faire Grounds in Veneta, Oregon. Unreleased for many years, the film was sometimes shown at small film festivals, and bootleg recordings of it circulated on VHS and DVD, and as digital downloads. A digitally remastered and reedited official version of the film was released on August 1, 2013, showing only one time in selected theaters as that year's edition of the Grateful Dead Meet-Up at the Movies. It was screened with Grateful Days, a new documentary short that includes interviews with some of the concert attendees. Sunshine Daydream was released on DVD and Blu-ray on September 17, 2013.

Sunshine Daydream is also a live album containing the complete August 27, 1972 Grateful Dead concert. Produced as a 3-disc CD and as a 4-disc LP, it was released by Rhino Records on September 17, 2013.

Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes - Live At The Greek : Complete Live Masters (4 CD, 2001/FLAC)

The Black Crowes were dogged with comparisons to the Rolling Stones and the Faces throughout the first decade of their career, so it came as a mild surprise that they teamed with Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page in late 1999 for a couple of concerts. Zeppelin had a mystique and majesty about them that the Crowes never attempted to emulate. They were an earthy, bluesy rock band and while they found a number of different ways to rework their influences, they never tried the stately grandeur that was Zeppelin's second nature. So, some observers were curious to see how these two approaches worked.

Ladies and Gentlemen... the Grateful Dead is a four-CD live album by the Grateful Dead. It was recorded at the April 25–29, 1971 shows at the Fillmore East in New York City. Some songs on the eponymous live album Grateful Dead were recorded at these shows as well. The album, released in October 2000, was certified Gold by the RIAA on January 6, 2002. Unlike Dick's Picks, Road Trips, Dave's Picks, and certain other of the band's archival series of live album releases, which are simply two-track stereo recordings made from the soundboard during the concert, the shows on Ladies and Gentlemen were recorded on a 16-track multitrack recorder and were mixed down to stereo just prior to the album's 2000 release.
