VA - Prison Songs - Historical Recordings From Parchman Farm 1947-1948 Vols. 1 & 2 [1997/FLAC]

"These songs belong to the musical tradition which Africans brought to the New World, but they are also as American as the Mississippi River. They were born out of the very rock and earth of this country, as black hands broke the soil, moved, reformed it, and rivers of stinging sweat poured upon the land under the blazing heat of Southern skies, and are mounted upon the passion that this struggle with nature brought forth. They tell us the story of the slave gang, the sharecropper system, the lawless work camp, the chain gang, the pen." --Alan Lomax

Bruce Springsteen - 1992/12/13 - Boston Garden, Boston, MA (2021/FLAC)

Bruce Springsteen released the live recording Boston 12/13/1992 from the Boston Garden. The Boss previewed the 28-song archival release with “Living Proof.”

The December 13, 1992 Boston Garden show came in the midst of the Bruce Springsteen 1992–1993 World Tour, which saw The Boss hitting the road for the first time without the E Street Band (save for keyboardist Roy Bittan). Bruce had dissolved the band in 1989 and recorded the 1992 companion albums Human Touch and Lucky Town, of which the tour was in support, without his famed backing group.

Queen - On Air: A BBC Recording - The Radio Collection [6 CD, 2016]

The complete BBC radio sessions, highlights from three concert broadcasts and over three and a half hours of interviews.

Between February 1973 and October 1977, Queen recorded six sessions for the BBC – twenty four new and alternative recordings spanning four albums.

They revisited nineteen different songs in all: My Fairy King (the first Queen song ever to be broadcast on radio), Liar, Son And Daughter, Doing All Right, Great King Rat, Modern Times Rock’n’Roll, Ogre Battle, Nevermore, White Queen, See What A Fool I’ve Been (a song that never appeared on any Queen studio album), Now I’m Here, Stone Cold Crazy, Flick Of The Wrist, Tenement Funster, Spread Your Wings, My Melancholy Blues, It’s Late, the only known studio recording of their dramatically different full-band ‘fast’ arrangement of We Will Rock You and the song that became their very first single Keep Yourself Alive.

All six sessions have been remastered and feature here together for the very first time.
