Grateful Dead - Anthem Of The Sun (50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition, 2 CD, 2018) [FLAC]

Anthem of the Sun is the second album by rock band the Grateful Dead, released in 1968 on Warner Bros/Seven Arts. It is the first album to feature second drummer Mickey Hart. The band was also joined by Tom Constanten, who contributed avant-garde instrumental and studio techniques influenced by composers John Cage and Karlheinz Stockhausen.

The album was assembled through a collage-like editing approach helmed by members Jerry Garcia and Phil Lesh (along with soundman Dan Healy), in which disparate studio and live performance tapes were spliced together to create new hybrid recordings. The band also supplemented their performances with instruments such as prepared piano, kazoo, harpsichord, timpani, trumpet, and güiro. The result is an experimental amalgam that is neither a studio album nor a live album, but both at the same time.

In 1972, a more commercial alternate mix of the album was officially released to capitalize on the band's recent success. A 2018 reissue on Rhino Records collects both the 1968 and 1972 mixes.

Muddy Waters, Johnny Winter & James Cotton - King Biscuit Flower Hour 1977 (Live) (2022) [FLAC]

Steve Paul of Blue Sky Records, appeared as a saviour to both Johnny Winter and blues giant Muddy Waters, at a time when both musicians were facing hard times.

The result of his investment soon paid off, with the Hard Again tour combining the respected powerhouse of Waters and Winter joined by James Cotton, culminating in a further four albums being produced. Although this particular collaboration was short-lived, it has provided blues fans a rare opportunity to indulge in the work of two hugely important musical figures whose respect for each other is evidently unflinching.

Two live albums, Muddy Mississippi Waters Live and the more recent Breakin' It Up, Breakin' It Down have allowed a glimpse of the concerts from 1977-1978.

Grateful Dead - View from the Vault, Volume Two (DVD 9, 2012)

View from the Vault, Volume Two (or View from the Vault II) is the second entry in the "View from the Vault" series by the Grateful Dead. It was released simultaneously as a three-disk CD and a one-disk DVD. This volume features the June 14, 1991 concert at Robert F. Kennedy Stadium in Washington, D.C., and bonus material from a show at the same venue on July 12, 1990. It is the only Grateful Dead video release featuring Vince Welnick and Bruce Hornsby.

The DVD contains one track that is not on the CD, "Box of Rain", recorded at the 1990 show. It also includes a music video, "Liberty", directed by Justin Kreutzmann, the son of Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann. The video uses audio from March 30, 1994, Atlanta, which was previously released on So Many Roads (1965–1995). The "Rubin and Cherise" on the DVD menu is from the show on June 9, 1991.

Endless Boogie 2008-2019 Vol.01 [6CDs]

Endless Boogie is an American rock band, formed in 1997 in Brooklyn, New York. The current line-up of the band consists of Paul Major (vocals, guitar), Jesper Eklow (guitar), Marc Razo (bass) and Harry Druzd (drums). The band takes its name from John Lee Hooker's 1971 album of the same name.

The band was formed in 1997 by Matador Records employees and a professional record collector for jamming. Initially having no plans to record or to tour, the band played their first live show in 2001 as an opening act for Pavement's Stephen Malkmus. After releasing a pair of rare vinyl LPs from 2005, the band released the albums Focus Level in 2008 and Full House Head in 2010. Touring with bands such as Dungen and Circle, the band released their fourth album, Long Island in 2013

The band's style has been labeled as hard rock, psychedelic rock, stoner rock and blues rock. The band's minimalist musical style also attributes krautrock influences, being described as "classic-rock-meets-krautrock" and " repetitive, one-chord riff-rock." The band described their musical style as "Kraut Southern rock."

The band's style also has been compared to those of ZZ Top, AC/DC, Teenage Head-era Flamin’ Groovies, Canned Heat, Amon Düül, Can, The Groundhogs, The Stooges and the Velvet Underground. Tom Hughes of The Guardian described Major's vocals as being "somewhere between a John Lee Hooker drawl and a Captain Beefheart honk

The band is known for "its minimalist jams both onstage and on record.

Two or three guitars, whatever amps you got, one wah pedal, one distortion box. The bass, the drums. Reluctant vocals, that’s all we need.
