At the time of his death on August 27, 1990, Stevie Ray Vaughan left behind a large collection of recordings. Over the years, his record companies have continued to issue his music in various formats. Since Jimmie Vaughan, his brother, took control of his intellectual property rights after his death, over 12 Vaughan albums have appeared in the main U.S. albums chart. Several of these have also placed in charts in more than six countries around the world. After his death, Vaughan's record company Sony Music Entertainment continued to issue his albums. These comprise studio outtakes/alternate takes, jams, and live recordings.

The Beatles - Complete BBC Sessions [9 CD, 1993]

The Beatles performed for fifty-two BBC Radio programmes, beginning with an appearance on the series Teenager's Turn—Here We Go, recorded on 7 March 1962, and ending with the special The Beatles Invite You to Take a Ticket to Ride, recorded on 26 May 1965; in total, 275 performances of 88 different songs were broadcast. Early bootlegs of some of the performances were based on low-quality home recordings of the broadcasts from the radio. It was not the BBC's practice to archive either the session tapes or the shows' master tapes, but many good quality distribution copies were found in various BBC departments during research for BBC radio specials produced in the 1980s.
Increasingly comprehensive collections of the BBC performances were bootlegged in the 1980s and early 1990s. The most notable of these was The Complete BBC Sessions, a nine-CD box set released in 1993 by Great Dane in Italy, where copyright protection for the broadcasts had expired.

Al Stewart - Year Of The Cat (45th Anniversary Deluxe Edition, 3 CD 2021/FLAC)
Al Stewart’s 1976 album, Year of the Cat, has received a 45th Anniversary release. The expanded 3-CD/1-DVD boxed set has been newly re-mastered for the first time from the original first-generation master tapes by Alan Parsons. It also features Parsons’ new 5.1 Surround sound mix from the original multi-track tapes. In addition, the set includes a complete, previously unreleased concert recorded at the Paramount Theater, in Seattle, Wash., in October 1976 on Stewart’s Year of the Cat tour.
Recorded in the early months of 1976 at Abbey Road studios (with some sessions and mixing taking place at Davlen Studios in Los Angeles), Year of the Cat was Stewart’s seventh album and the second on which he collaborated with Parsons as producer.
