Joni Mitchell - Archives, Vol. 2: The Reprise Years (1968-1971) [5 CD, 2021/FLAC]
The first volume of the Joni Mitchell Archives series shed significant light on the beginning of Mitchell’s musical journey, compiling a wealth of unreleased demos, radio broadcasts, and live tapes from the years just before she began making records. The extensive collection painted a detailed picture of Mitchell’s nascent years growing as a songwriter and performer in the independent folkie scene, and Joni Mitchell Archives, Vol. 2: The Reprise Years 1968-1971 does just as thorough and impressive a job of drawing back the curtain on the lively period surrounding her first four albums.
Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot (5 CD Deluxe, 2022/FLAC)
A sprawling new box set full of demos and alternate takes suggests a dazzling array of paths the Chicago group might have taken on their masterpiece.
Wilco's legendary 4th studio album, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, was originally released on April 23, 2002. It delivered ten songs that have since become favorites among fans and critics alike. It scored a perfect 10 on Pitchfork, which hailed the album as "complex and dangerously catchy, lyrically sophisticated and provocative, noisy and somehow serene...simply a masterpiece." And as the New York Times put it, Jeff Tweedy's songs "unfold in richly enigmatic arrangements."
This 7LP/5 CD Deluxe Edition of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot features the original eleven songs remastered, plus an alternate version of the album (titled The Unified Theory Of Everything). Additionally, the songs performed on the September 18, 2001 WXRT radio appearance are included, as is the entire July 23, 2002 show from The Pageant in St. Louis, MO. The vinyl is mastered by Bob Ludwig and cut by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering on black vinyl. The package (designed by Lawrence Azerrad) includes a new essay by music journalist Bob Mehr featuring recent interviews with Jeff Tweedy, John Stirratt and Glenn Kotche plus previously unseen live and studio photos.
KISS - Transmission Impossible (3 CD, 2015/FLAC)
Pink Floyd - Compilations & Live albums [FLAC]
Pink Floyd are an English rock band formed in London in 1965. They became a leading band of the progressive rock genre, cited by some as the greatest progressive rock band of all time.

Cheap Trick - Transmission Impossible (3 CD, 2016) [FLAC+320]
This 3 CD collection brings together a trio of Cheap Trick live Radio Broadcasts, one each from the 1970s, the 1980s and the 1990s, and in doing so illustrates both the changing musical face of the band and their continuity of quality, talent and performance ability - nay, expertise - to provide a quite delightful live collection of the group from all stages of their lengthy career.
Fairport Convention - A Lasting Spirit 1967 - 1997 (3 CD, 2005/FLAC)
This Fairport Convention triple-CD set represents a startlingly good idea that comes off well -- a compilation of live performances from across the group's history, intermingling class concert recordings from back as far as the late '60s with much more recent work from the Cropredy Festival. What one comes away appreciating anew is just how good a rock band Fairport has been for most of its history -- at their best, in fact, as represented here (including recent performances by Richard Thompson), they come off as at least as good a rock band as, say, Jethro Tull is a folk outfit, if not better. The sound is good, even on the older material (which goes back to Julie Dyble's tenure with the group), and the selection covers a huge range of repertory, some of which will surprise and delight casual fans who may not know all of the strings to this band's bow.
The Rolling Stones – Atlantic City 1989 (3 CD, 1998/FLAC)

Joni Mitchell - The Asylum Albums (1972–1975) [4 CD, 2022/FLAC]
Eric Clapton - Transmission Impossible (3 CD, 2018 /FLAC)
Eric Clapton's musical output across a career spanning 55 years and counting, has been nothing short of extraordinary. But added to this, that the lion s share of his work has been of a quite staggering quality, with more than occasional brilliance displayed, has made Clapton one of a handful of musicians, composers and performers from the rock age who patently deserve their place at the top table of the industry.
This 3 X CD set celebrates and champions the contribution Eric has made to the pantheon of intelligent rock music as it contains three broadcast recordings of live shows from the 1960s, the 1970s and the 1990s. Kicking off with a superb concert the great man gave as part of Cream, the super-group which also of course featured the talents of Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker, recorded at the LA Forum in October 1968. Next up on disc two is a unique gig Clapton gave at Dallas s Convention Center in Texas towards the end of 1976, hot on the heels of his No Reason To Cry album. Concluding the collection, disc 3 takes EC forward more than 20 years, to his astonishing show at the Edmonton Coliseum in Alberta, Canada in September of 1998.
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here [Immersion Edition 2011] (2 CD + DVD / FLAC)

It appears on Rolling Stone's lists of "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time" and the "50 Greatest Prog Rock Albums of All Time".
